Cultural Curriculum

At Montessori School of Franklin, we believe in teaching children that peace on earth comes from within. Our students are encouraged to understand and love people for their differences, accept every culture as unique and important, and behave respectfully and kindly toward themselves and others.

By reading, partaking in cultural celebrations, learning different songs, and story-telling, our children are able to understand differences and similarities as part of a larger community of people. These experiences early in life will be carried with them to adulthood and form a solid foundation of respect for all humanity.

As said by Dr. Maria Montessori (To Educate the Human Potential): “Let us give the child a vision of the whole universe…for all things are a part of the universe, and are connected with each other to form one whole unity.”
